When I'll die, I want my grave to look something like Oscar Wilde's.

Paris in film

"Ladies and gentlemen
I am from Bosnia, have been in Paris for 3 months with my broather he has leukemia in Bosnia. He is in hospital and my father is dead. Please give me some money for medicina. Thank you. God bless you."

Life in paris. Parisians are not only friends of fashion, but also friends of new technology, I noticed that quite a few pedestrian were playing with their brand new iphones. It really is a city of controversy, while somebody are shopping in the luxury boutiques, some have to beg for food and other things. I'm not sure if the lady in that photo really is cincere with her note, because there were quite a few of these ladies with their requests written in english.

Paris I

I visited paris last weekend, and got a lot of material to go through. I took most of my pictures digitally, but shot also three rolls with my yashica. I have to say that I have never been so inspired to take pictures, camera was constantly pointing somewhere. Paris is definitely a place that I will be visiting someday again. More pics to come!

A Little House on the Prairie

Still waiting a chance to develop my latest roll of film. So busy recently, and it's a bit difficult sometimes to get to my school's darkroom. But meanwhile, here's little digiyummy, a hdr-panorama from an abandoned house I visited recently.

Biking

This happens when you're too slow. I was walking around the city and noticed this boy coming towards me with a big smile on his face, looking so happy with his cool bike. When he was right in front of me I raised the camera to take a photo. He noticed me and the smile wasn't there anymore, I should have been quicker. It's really hard in these kinds of situations to be unobtrusive, the picture should be taken really fast before the moment is over.

Street

Again shooting on the streets, observing people and composing frames. I'm really starting to enjoy it, though most of my street pictures are still quite meaningless and dull. But every frame teaches something!

Ice-cream

Got a job for the summer, so I have been really busy and tired the whole week and haven't been able to shoot. But finally this weekend I managed to go to the city and do some street photography, which was a real treat. Mostly dull frames, I don't quite have the touch and courage to take every shot I want, street photography being quite invasive sometimes. But there was few decent frames, I will be posting them here during next week.

Shading

Playing with black&white. This parking lot looked so cool at the evening sun, I had to take few snapshots. I converted this photo to b&w first, but the red car looked just to neat to do it. So here's the result, half b&w, half color.

HRD-mania

A while back I suffered a serious condition called HDR-mania, which caused me to shoot and convert almost everything to hdr. Then I had this vision that everything looks great in HDR, even otherwise dull images. I went and bougth myself photomatix -licence and converted the shit out of my images with it. I guess I just had to get the hdr-troll out of me.

Nowadays I don't do it quite that often. It's true that hdr brings certain coolness to images, but I have to say that it doesn't convert everything to gold like I used to think. Great effect used with consideration, I really like how these two images above turned out.
